Engineering is participating in SPS 2022, the Automation and Digital Fair, a reference point for the Italian manufacturing sector, to be held in Parma, Italy, May 24-26.

We will be present at Stand A009 in Hall 4, dedicated to 5G offerings. Here, the team of consultants and specialists from Engineering's Digital Industry and Industries eXcellence Global divisions will propose our Group's solutions dedicated to Industry 4.0, particularly IoT, Supply Chain and Field Service thanks to Augmented Reality.

Different wearable tools will be experienced: from smartwatches for PPE control to augmented reality visors, very useful for remote field service and applicable in every production market. There will also be a minirulliera, which will allow live testing of the effectiveness of vision-based solutions for quality control and production counting.

Thanks to 5G technology, there will be a direct connection with the i4.0Lab ENG laboratory in Turin, which enables low-latency control and monitoring of a packaging line.

On May 24 at 10 a.m., in Arena 4 in Hall 8, Morena Pietraccini, Luca Folicaldi and Jacopo Revello, from the Industries eXcellence Global division, will give a speech entitled "IIOT: the strategic role of 5G in verticalized solutions for industry." In addition, on May 26 at 2:30 p.m., in the 4.Technology Arena, Elda Bernardi, from the Telco & Media division, will participate in a panel discussion entitled "5G and the industrial world: a necessary marriage."
