Mobility for All: Data, AI and Intelligent Infrastructure for the Smart Lands of the Future

As part of the event organized by Confcommercio during European Mobility Week, Engineering will join the discussion on the challenges and opportunities of Smart Lands: connected, sustainable, data-driven territorial models.

Francesco Argano, Central Public Administration Director, will participate in the roundtable discussion "Smart Land: Connecting Lombardy's Region and Cities."

The discussion will focus on a single data collection and analytics platform capable of integrating information from multiple sources and transforming it, through Artificial Intelligence, into decision-support tools. One example is the integration of traffic and air pollution data to identify the best travel routes while simultaneously relieving congestion in critical areas by strengthening public transportation services.

During the event, Engineering will also present several experiences developed in the field of railway infrastructure, where the integration of data, Computer Vision, and Artificial Intelligence enables, for example, enhanced network safety through anomaly detection based on the analysis of images captured by drones.
