Challenge
Campari Group is one of the leading global players in the spirits industry, with a portfolio of over 50 brands. Operating on a multinational scale, it must ensure product quality control and traceability while managing a supply chain capable of addressing the challenges of the global market.
Approach
The project, implemented in France and the USA, enabled the standardization of logistics management and traceability in line with the processes defined by the Italian headquarters. The approach was based on an agile methodology with a strong emphasis on change management, supported by a dedicated Change Management team working in close collaboration with the Technical Team. This allowed stakeholders, key users, and operators to be fully prepared and to immediately recognize the benefits of the new processes from day one of the system's implementation.

The project carried out a series of international rollouts (France and the USA) to implement the SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) module for managing logistics and warehouse processes (inbound, outbound, and production). The methodology used was SAP Activate, based on Agile best practices. The system was integrated with the production management modules and the existing SAP ERP applications within the Client's information system. The rollouts have optimized logistics and traceability processes, and the roadmap includes further extensions, with one already underway in Mexico, to be implemented in other production plants across the Group.
