Telepass Pay: beyond highways

ABSTRACT
With our support and our solutions, Telepass Pay has expanded its services, becoming a Visa and Mastercard acquirer.

Where: Italy
Challenge
Telepass Pay has always played a leading role in the area of highway payments thanks to its privative scheme. Telepass Pay decided to transform its positioning into a Payment Institution and an acquirer of Visa and Mastercard. This action would allow Telepass Pay to provide a complete payment solution to both traditional customers and others.
Approach
In order to support Telepass Pay in becoming an acquirer, hence able to integrate within its accounting the payment processing solutions of other partners, we developed a specific solution. This solution allows to receive and process the transactions flows accounted for by the different circuits enabled.

Digital Ecosystem

It was thus possible to:

  • feed the corporate accounting of Telepass Pay;
  • credit the payment transactions to affiliated merchants;
  • charge applicable monthly commissions to affiliated merchants.

We also developed a portal used by the acquirer and its customers for the control and reconciliation of managed transactions.
