Assisting customs, police and couriers in preventing and detecting postal crimes by improving operational readiness and situation.

Where: International
Challenge
Preventing and fighting the flow of illicit material and dangerous substances through postal and courier services in the EU is a priority. Criminals take advantage of various flows and identify security gaps to transport illicit parcels or letters in the EU. Although a range of screening systems is currently in place, there is still much work to be done to improve detection efficacy.
Approach
iFLOWS proposes a unique approach in the prevention and detection of such crimes by improving operational readiness, achieving superior mission performance and guaranteeing enhanced security. iFLOWS develops a novel multi-tier synergistic toolkit to enhance intelligence extraction, screening and detection of illicit material within courier and postal flows across and withint the EU borders.
