TALON: Autonomous Artificial Intelligence orchestrator for a greener Industry 4.0

Challenge
Nowadays, companies interact in a data-rich environment. However, most of them adopt a conservative approach towards the evolution of robotic and digital technologies, despite having the possibility to collect a high volume of data, regarding transactions, customer behavior, micro indicators and macroeconomics.
Approach
Adopting an holistic approach to data analysis they have the opportunity to make better decisions, however, it is not easy to have the necessary tools to recognize, manage and process data due to the complexity of the scenario. TALON offers to enterprises an advanced AI solution to boost energy efficiency and AI deployments in the cloud-to-edge continuum.
Solution

TALON transforms the Industry 5.0 by introducing an AI orchestrator: an intelligent and automated platform that leverages recent advances in edge networks by bringing intelligence close to sensors in integrated systems with limited computational, storage and communication resources. It also integrates advanced and adaptive perception sensors. TALON creates a new system architecture that uses centralized, distributed and hybrid intelligence, transforming the cloud-to-edge continuum into an energy-efficient solution. Engineering is the project coordinator, and the leader of the architecture and platform related activities."
