ADR manages the main airport hubs of Rome, Fiumicino and Ciampino. In order to carry out all related activities, ADR adopted an on-premise data center that was managed by us of Engineering. Once aware of the potential benefits of Cloud technology, involving scalability, flexibility and security, ADR decided to kickstart a holistic project to move part of its data and applications to Cloud.

Before the migration, we implemented a landing zone using dedicated accounts. We then used AWS Cloudamize tool to evaluate each application and understand the application and network architecture, and AWS CloudEndure tool to migrate each application. The project stood out for the expertise delivered to implement solutions in hybrid cloud mode. The service offered provides integrated and optimized management of Windows and Linux systems, both on-premise and on AWS servers, through the adoption of a state-of-the-art service management model. The IT Service Management (ITSM) model has been integrated into the active management processes for the on-premise environment. The hybrid cloud model provides the best combination between the on-premise and AWS cloud environments, leading to increased flexibility and scalability of resources and resulting in a high adaptability of the infrastructure. With our contribution, ADR can approach its digital transformation journey with confidence and can rely on an experienced partner to achieve the strongest benefits.
