Case Study

Integrated Management of Connectivity Services and Network Operations

Together with our client, we developed an integrated model for the delivery of connectivity services and operational management, combining project governance with 24/7 infrastructure oversight.

Where: italy
Challenge
Our client, one of the leading telco operators in Italy, manages a complex nationwide network. In a context of growing demand for secure and scalable connectivity, they face the challenge of ensuring operational continuity and service quality by integrating fixed and mobile networks, managing migrations to convergent services, and guaranteeing the timely delivery of complex projects.
Approach
We adopted an integrated consulting approach, combining specialized technical expertise with strong project governance. Through a structured Service & Project Management methodology, dedicated Technical Project Managers coordinated the entire delivery cycle from design to activation. We also deployed a 24/7 Network Operations Center to ensure proactive infrastructure monitoring, prompt fault management, and consistent service quality.

Solution
Digital Ecosystem
The project was developed along two main lines: provisioning and operational management. We activated approximately 300 projects per year for voice, data, SD-WAN, and Wi-Fi services including within the Consip framework using an agile and scalable model. In parallel, we managed over 20,000 network devices across IP-MPLS, DWDM, and BBNS architectures, 350 BNG nodes, 100 RADIUS servers, AAA systems for 2.5 million users, and the IP core backbone with more than 400 Cisco devices.
Results

Reduced activation times for voice and data services

Optimized operating costs through centralized management

More stable, faster, and secure connectivity

Scalable infrastructure ready for the future
