Challenge
The client is the Local Police Department of Rieti, a complex municipal sector responsible for managing one of the most intricate processes with significant impact on the Municipality’s budget: the administrative sanctions procedure. The Department places great emphasis on its relationship with users, focusing on transparency and accessibility.
Approach
To achieve the goals set by the client, several processes were redefined, but most importantly, all previous software platforms were replaced and a comprehensive portal was introduced to ensure transparency and communication with citizens.
Solution
The project was carried out in a temporary business grouping with Municipia as the lead company. It is based on providing the Local Police Department with a suite consisting of software for managing violation reports, a portal for online services for citizens, and support for handling appeals against administrative sanctions, including legal representation. A support service was also implemented, managed by the lead company and ensured by qualified personnel located at the Department. This includes data entry, back office, and front office activities. Municipia’s strength lies in its ability to adapt software platforms and management services to the specific needs of the City of Rieti, provide comprehensive operational support to the Department, and continuously evolve the digital ecosystem in line with regulatory and technological changes.
