The Digital Assistant is based on an open innovation model using design thinking methods for AI development and testing. The solution enables the public administration to orient, inform and support users so that they can immediately and directly satisfy their information needs on all public and tourist services managed by the municipality: Taxes, Demography, Social Affairs, Schools, Construction, Transport, Mobility, Justice and Public Security, Economic Subsidies, Pollution and Waste.

Through conversational interfaces in Natural Language, the system interprets the needs expressed and always guarantees a response. Artificial Intelligence technologies involved in the project are Machine Learning and Deep Learning for training the AI with the application of NLP for understanding human language. The goal is to refine the AI so that it is able to answer an increasing number of user questions.
