The project intends to respond to the need for structural change that the Convergence Regions feel, above all: driving the entire Italian service sector towards modernization.
Approach
Servify is configured as the first initiative by SI-Lab Sicilia S.C.A.R.L. of whcih Engineering is partner and is in line with the paths of the Horizon@Calabria2020 ICT Cluster. The project aims at having a positive influence on the territorial context, providing entrepreneurs with the opportunity of turning their own business into a highly innovative business service. Servify is strongly oriented towards the advancement of the state of the art of techniques, models and methods of delivery of software and services in different application domains.

Servify foresees the design, analysis and definition of software components for the creation of a software infrastructure for the provision of ubiquitous and continuous services. The project adopts a methodology characterized by user-driven open innovation and codified as "Living-Lab". Servify also includes the training project "Empowering Knowledge Intensive Business Services (KIBS)" which aims to build innovative human capital through the development of interdisciplinary skills related to service management, new approaches to collaboration and innovation, new business models, new technologies for the design, implementation and management of Internet-based services. Project presented within "Avviso D.D. n. 713 Ric." 29th October 2010 "Titolo III – Asse 1" and co-funded with PAC funds.
