Challenge
The regulation of the District Heating sector initiated by ARERA has led to a progressive evolution of processes and IT solutions to ensure compliance. AGSM, one of the leading companies operating in the Gas & Power sector, had already begun establishing its presence in this market and expressed the need for an end-to-end solution to support its business processes.
Approach
To meet this challenge, we leveraged both our market and technological expertise, with the goal of optimizing interaction with the end customer. We implemented a solution specifically designed for the District Heating market, based on the Net@Suite platform, customizing the CRM, Billing, and Credit & Collection modules for both Mass Market and Business clients.
Solution
The solution manages the main processes involved in both relational and operational customer interactions. It covers quotation management through a workflow that tracks new connection requests, calculates quotation costs, and handles the related billing. It also supports contractual activities such as new service activations and account transfers. Additionally, it includes the metering-to-cash process, with a billing cycle based on specific time windows. The solution is positioned within the “Distribution” (Metering-to-Cash – M2C) and “Wholesale/Retail Sale” (Contract-to-Cash – C2C) phases of the Utilities market supply chain. For its implementation, we relied on Business & User Services expertise, tailored to the specific market context.
