Waste Metering module is the module of the Neta platform dedicated to the digital and intelligent management of measures in the Waste management service.​
Designed to support the transition to punctual pricing (TARIP) and to ensure traceability, accuracy and automation, Waste Metering allows waste emptying and delivery measures to be recorded, validated and made available, associating them with users on time.​
Waste Metering represents a key element for environmental managers who want to evolve towards data-driven management, reduce the operational burden and improve the quality of the service offered to citizens.​

The module manages in an integrated and automated way the recording of emptying and delivery measures, coming from dedicated containers, condominiums, street or ecological islands, with complete traceability of quantity, type of waste, means and collection antenna. It manages the association of measures with supplies, even in the presence of shared containers, ensuring correct distribution and allocation for billing purposes. It manages scraps and anomalies, with dedicated dashboards for reviewing, resubmitting or forcing measurements that have not been correctly acquired.​

It classifies the status of the measures, distinguishing between acquired, non-billable, invoiced and cancelled, to ensure timely control of the data life cycle and manages integration with billing processes, making the measures available for the calculation of the punctual tariff, in compliance with ARERA regulations.​
