The digital transformation in Etra’s water and environmental management

CASE STUDY

The Veneto-based multi-utility launches the Etra4Future program by adopting Engineering’s new Net@2A Suite for water and environmental hygiene management.

Where: italy

Challenge
Etra is the largest utility within the Viveracqua consortium in the Veneto region in terms of users served (276,000 water service users and 281,000 environmental hygiene users). Its widespread presence across the territory provides a strong drive toward the adoption of new technologies and integrated smart solutions.
Approach
As part of the company’s renewal program called Etra4Future, the need emerged for a platform capable of managing processes in compliance with the sector regulations set by the national authority ARERA, and adaptable to future regulatory developments. Etra therefore chose to partner with Engineering.
Solution

To meet Etra’s digital transformation needs, Engineering responded with the new Net@2A application, representing the natural evolution of the solutions currently used by the company. This confirmed a solid, long-standing partnership aligned with the path toward resilient and secure Cloud-based solutions, with the essential guarantee of regulatory compliance—an increasingly critical factor in the environmental hygiene sector, as it has already been in the water sector.

The project includes the solution for both water and environmental hygiene management (Net@2A), integrated with the Accounting and Logistics system (Net@Sial 3.0) as well as other systems.
