Challenge
With the goal of automating and accelerating the verification of issued invoices, a major Power and Gas sales company expressed the need for a new tool to generate supply baskets relevant for billing control.
Approach
To meet this challenge, we leveraged our Billing expertise. We guided the company in developing a flexible and dynamic process that, through specific functionalities, allows the association and disassociation of criteria based on the type of documents (e.g., gas or electricity) and the type of end customers (e.g., residential, public administration, condominiums, businesses).

The implemented solution is a customization of our Utilities Digital Platform, based on Net@Suite for billing, credit, and collection functions for Mass Market clients. Specifically, for the billing function, we have implemented key features including: administration of criteria for invoice sampling, management of dynamic criteria with inclusion/exclusion mechanisms, and automatic/manual generation of supply and invoice baskets to be checked.
The system also enables the configuration and execution of billing controls, as well as the validation of consistent details, highlighting only those that require user verification/validation. With our Business & User Services expertise, we managed customizations, UX, and service design for the front end.
