Information pursuant to Art. 13 EU Regulation 2016/679 for the Processing of Data related to marketing activities (ver. jul-22)
Who is your data controller?
Engineering Ingegneria Informatica S.p.a., with its registered office in Rome, Piazzale dell’Agricoltura 24-00144, (hereinafter the "Data Controller”) which also operates in the name and on behalf of subsidiaries following an explicit joint controller agreement.

According to the co-ownership agreement concluded between the aforementioned companies, as outlined in Article 26 of the Regulation, the respective roles and responsibilities regarding compliance with the obligations deriving from this Regulation have been determined. What personal data will be processed?
Simple data, such as personal information (name, surname, etc.), contact information (telephone number, e-mail address, professional profile, etc.).
Why does Engineering use your data?
To register you for online events and webinars, to send you promotional communications, and to conduct statistical analysis.
- To register and participate in online events and webinars and related activities (e.g. attendance management, production of certificates, processing and sharing of educational material, etc.) as well as to provide services through the institutional website of Engineering.
The legal basis is the execution of a contract between you and Engineering [art.6 (1) (b) GDPR]. - To send you promotional or marketing communications including newsletters and market research, through automated tools (sms, mms, e-mail, push notifications , fax) and not (paper mail, telephone with operator).
The legal basis is represented by your prior consent [art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR]. - To carry out statistical analysis and related services (survey at the end of the nominative webinars).
The legal basis is represented by the legitimate interest of Engineering in guaranteeing the possibility of conducting and improving its business [art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR].
The provision of your personal data for these purposes is optional but there is no consequence in the event of your refusal.
Who will your personal data be shared with?
Your Personal Data may be shared with natural or legal persons expressly authorized to process your personal data pursuant to art. 28 and 29 GDPR.
Morevoer, you data will be shared with public authorities if it is mandatory to communicate personal data under the provisions of the law. Your personal data may also be shared with organizers or co-organizers of e-learning courses, webinars and conferences in the event that registration is requested.
The complete and updated list of data recipients can be requested from the Data Controller or the DPO, at the addresses indicated above.
In the event that you request enrollment in a course provided by another person, other than Engineering, you are invited to read the Privacy Notice made available by the latter acting as independent data controller.
Third party platforms may be required to deliver webinars (eg Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams and Events, etc.). These subjects act as independent data controllers for which reference is made to the relative conditions of use and privacy notices.
Extra-EU data transfer
The Data Controller does not transfer your Personal Data outside the European Economic Area.
How long is your personal data kept?
Your Personal Data will be kept by Engineering only for the time necessary for the purposes for which they are collected.
The minimization principle referred to in Article 5, paragraph 1, letter c) of the GDPR will be respected. The data collected for marketing purposes will be deleted after 24 months from their conferment.
Engineering may keep some data even after the termination of the contractual relationship for the time necessary for contractual and legal obligations.
What are your rights regarding data management?
You have the right to access your data at any time. In particular, you can ask for the rectification, cancellation , limitation of data processing in certain cases, to obtain the portability of data concerning you in certain cases, as well as to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data). You can also make a request for opposition to the processing of your data in which to highlight the reasons justifying the opposition. Finally, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time.
