Analysis and consultancy for a global pharmaceutical company, to evolve its production processes in view of the new MES (Manufacturing Execution System).

We provided a consultancy service to a North European pharmaceutical company, which develops and produces drugs for third parties.

Today, for an industrial company, part of one of the biggest groups in the world, with more than 70.000 employees, having cutting-edge solutions, capable of increasing process efficiency, is of fundamental importance. For this reason, our experts supported it in the analysis of the production processes, to adapt them to the new Rockwell MES, for the management of work orders.


We provided consultancy leveraging our long experience in the industrial sector.
We mediated among the business stakeholders, the technological solution vendor (Rockwell) and the Group's IT, with the aim of supporting the various structures in defining a Business Blueprint (detailed functional technical analysis) that will be used as a reference in the introduction and upgrade of the existing MES system to the new PharmaSuite version.

The goals of the project were:
  • As Is Analysis, to detail the current situation in terms of systems, with the collection of critical issues and points of improvement for the current process
  • To Be Definition, with the remapping of functionalities and flows among the various systems and the design of the necessary improvements
  • Definition of the Model and implementation strategy, including data migration and validation activities, in order to define the project budget
  • Business Blueprint drafting.
