ANITA: when technology supports law enforcement agencies

ANITA: when technology supports law enforcement agencies

The second workshop dedicated to the platform designed to combat trafficking in illegal goods.

October 12 2021

After the interest received during the first public workshop, Engineering organises the second event dedicated to ANITA: the platform conceived with and for European law enforcement agencies to support them in their work and improve their entire operational investigation cycle.

A one-day event designed for LEAs and EU agencies working in the monitoring of trafficking, organised crime and terrorist activities to provide a comprehensive overview of the ultimate ANITA solution presenting its potential and legacy.

This second workshop, in particular, aims to raise awareness of how ANITA enhances the technological capabilities and operational activities of LEAs, how it can provide input to policy by developing innovative capabilities and curricula that meet the real needs of EU LEAs, and what contribution it makes to the scientific community.

At the end of the day, there will be two demonstrations of projects complementary to ANITA and a discussion on ANITA's key legacy in terms of adoption.
