Digital Industry

A Global Model for Automation and Control

Our Digital Twins simulate and support Emerson's manufacturing processes, a great company always ready to innovate.

Approach & Solution

The Emerson Electric Co. is an American multinational corporation headquartered in Ferguson, Missouri. This Fortune 500 company manufactures products and provides engineering services for a wide range of industrial, commercial, and consumer markets. Emerson has approximately 76,500 employees and 205 manufacturing locations worldwide.

In a continuously expanding partnership, Engineering USA’s leading Digital Industry plant simulation team is helping Emerson create living Digital Twins for both the HVAC( Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) and Automation & Control manufacturing divisions in North America.

Our team designed and built a plant simulation model (Tecnomatix) for new HVAC(Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) division line to answer questions about optimal layout of facility, equipment and containers to be purchased.

The model will be used as a global template for Emerson’s sensor manufacturing division and Engineering is continuing to expand Digital Twins delivered to add functionalities and improve models based on evolving needs of customer and industry.
Moreover we provided and we are providing training sessions and documentations to the end users.

Our Client's thoughts

"Engineering USA performed a Plant Sim model for one of our lines. Their Sim expert, Carlos Ortega, did an outstanding job on the model and the results provided us valuable information to make key decisions on our line design. Engineering USA is a preferred supplier of ours when it comes to Teamcenter Manufacturing activities.
When businesses ask me internally on how to get started with PLM in Manufacturing, I point them towards Plant Simulate since it does not require heavy integration at the beginning of the journey. Plant Simulate has given us the ability to make more qualified decisions early in the project, prior to ordering equipment. We have saved thousands of dollars by investing in this technology. "
