The technical transition of the merger acts as completion of the necessary trade union path that the top management of the company, the trade unions and the Unitary Workplace Union Structure (RSU) accomplished together in a constructive meeting that led to the definition of an agreement validated by the positive vote of 99% of workers expressed at the assembly.
A path that, also in consideration of the significant number of employees, saw all the parties strongly committed to guaranteeing them the best possible conditions of passage. With this in mind, Engineering, in line with its proven historical focus on its employees, has undertaken to accept the requests of the counterparts in order to guarantee many of the benefits and supplementary subsidies already acquired and also taking on the related costs.
Giuseppina Volpi, President of Infogroup and General Financial Director of Engineering, declared: "We started the trade union negotiations this March 19th and in just one month, thanks to the collaboration of all the parties, we have reached an agreement that is approved by the workers' assemblies. New colleagues can happily look forward to this new phase in their professional career, focusing on the activities aimed at the core areas of our Group".
